Fitbit CEO and former CEO of Fitbit, Paul Cheeseman, talks about the company’s new fitness video initiative, “The Cat Fit.”
The company released the cat-inspired fitness video on Monday, which features Fitbits owner Chris Cornell, who recently won a prestigious cat-themed competition.

Cornell says he has “lost 20 pounds” in the past three months and is looking forward to his cat, Lulu, becoming his new daily companion.
“The cat fit is all about love,” he says in the video.
Cornell has won the Cat Fit competition in 2016 and 2017.
He’s also the founder and CEO of Cat Fittest, a cat-related company.
Cheesman says Fitbit wants to encourage people to look at their bodies as they work out.
“We want people to know what’s going on inside of them, what their body is doing,” he said in a statement.
“I think we’ve got a good idea of what our customers want, and we want to make sure we’re giving them that.
We’re going to focus on building a world where you don’t need to have a Fitbit.”
The Cat Fit is part of FitBit’s push into fitness.
The wearable fitness tracker has launched a series of fitness videos, including a cat fitting video that shows a man’s cat, who was fitted into the back of a trainer’s head and then a cat walking on a treadmill.
In 2017, Fitbit released its first cat-oriented fitness video titled The Cat Fitter, which shows a cat running in a park and has been viewed more than 30 million times.
It was released by the company last week.
