With a new hardware platform under development, and Nintendo’s latest game console launching in just over two months, gamers have been waiting for some major news to be released about what the next-gen console will bring to the table.
While there are many big titles to look forward to, there are also a lot of games to wait on, like this summer’s new Zelda title Breath of the Wild, that we’re sure fans will be excited to try out.
There’s also some surprises for you to be excited about, as we’ll explain.

Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Edition Mario Kart is back with a brand-new Mario Kart mode.
Mario will be driving around the Mushroom Kingdom in a new Mario Kart Mode.

Mario has been around since Super Mario 64, and he has appeared in every Mario Kart game since.
Mario also has a unique move, “Smash Run.”
When Mario fires a ball of fire, he will run in a line across the course and then jump to a higher spot.
Mario can also roll on his back, making him a fast, fast-flying racer.
Mario was the first Mario to make a return, and now he’s coming back to Super Mario Kart again for Mario Kart fans to enjoy.
Nintendo’s Mario Kart racers have always been unique in their designs and customization options.
They have their own special courses and characters, and they can even create their own course and customize it to their liking.
Mario’s first outing on the Wii U, Mario Kart Wii, debuted with a unique twist on the game that featured an additional course with a different layout.
You can still play this course on the console, and the WiiU also has another Mario Kart title that lets you race a raccoon and get extra points.
Mario Karts on Wii U are a bit less popular than on the Nintendo 3DS.
The new Mario Kart racers on the Switch have a unique feel that feels like a combination of Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart: Double Dash!!.
It feels like the Nintendo Switch has the most advanced Mario Kart experience out there.
You’ll also be able to customize your Mario Kart with stickers, as well as with different powerups like Mario Kart and a new spin on the Karts power-ups.
You may even get to play as Bowser Jr. on your Nintendo Switch.
Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Yoshi have been returning to Nintendo platforms since Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Mario now has his own Nintendo Switch game, Mario Tennis Open, and there’s a Mario Kart spin-off game called Mario Kart 6: Super Circuit.
Nintendo has also announced a Mario Tennis Pro Tour series, which is set to debut later this year.
Nintendo says the Pro Tour will be the biggest tennis game in the world.
The Pro Tour is going to be the largest tennis tournament in the history of sports, and it’s coming soon.
This is the first time that Nintendo has announced a new tennis game, but there’s no word yet on whether the Pro Tours will be like the tennis tournaments that Nintendo released in the past, or if they’ll be completely new.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash Mario has had a lot to live up to since he debuted on the original Nintendo 64.
Mario and his friends have become a worldwide sensation, with their ability to make their own Mario Tennis matches, and have gotten to play in tournaments around the world, from the United States to Brazil.
Mario returns to his beloved series with Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, which adds a new game mode called Mario Tennis Tour to the Wii Remote.
Mario wins a special tournament with his favorite racers, where he can take on the entire tournament with their favorite racquets.
Mario gets to make his own character, as opposed to the default Mario.
Mario faces up to 16 players, including players from the top 16 of the online Mario Tennis tournament.

Mario isn’t the only character who has had an impact on the Mario franchise.
You could say Mario has a big impact on gaming in general.
He is the mascot of the Mario family, and his appearance in games like Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Super Mario Maker has given him an international following.
Mario fans have also been looking forward to a Mario game since he first appeared in the Super Mario Brothers: Super Show!
game in 1992.
Super Mario Sunshine has been a huge hit with gamers around the globe, and Mario’s return to the Super Show!, a new adventure for the franchise, is also bringing a Mario character to the game.
