Fitness video creator fita De is up to the challenge of making fitness videos for the Google Play store.
“I started the company with a small, tight budget and with a focus on getting quality content on YouTube for people to enjoy and share,” Mr De said.
The founder and CEO of fitaDe, fitaDegrassi, said she had to “make the most out of what I had” and “to take on the challenges that were there for me”.
“The main thing I wanted to do was get to the point where we were actually making quality content,” she said.
“So I started the business off as a hobby, I didn’t have a product, I just wanted to make the best content that I could.”
Mr De said he wanted to get to a point where videos would be made for free on YouTube.
As well as YouTube, fittoDe also has video-sharing sites like Vine, Facebook and Instagram.
He said he was particularly inspired by a video made by the creator of the popular fitness app Fitocracy.
Mr De had also been inspired by an earlier app called Fitocracy Plus, which was designed for people who wanted to be more active.
“I liked that it was a lot more of a fitness experience, it was like the ultimate fitness experience,” Mr de said.
Mr De’s team also created an app called Workout Tracker, which helps people keep track of their work and workout sessions.
“You can create a playlist of your workouts and have it automatically synced with Fitocracy,” he said.
Mr De has also launched a podcast, which he hopes will help people to be better at their job.
“It’s a way for people like myself to be a bit more accountable and get to know each other a little better,” he explained.
The company has been selling fitness videos and other content on its site since 2014.”
